That being stated, there’s a option to sync your iCloud calendar with Outlook for Mac—you’ll be able to subscribe to your iCloud calendar to Outlook on the internet (Outlook Net Entry), and when you do this, the subscribed iCloud calendar mechanically syncs with Outlook for Mac. You could try using iCloud and sync the iCloud calendar between Outlook and the iPhone. But I also find the iCloud Outlook plugin tends to crash Outlook. Also, the latest version of the iCloud app needs to be run in comparability mode if you're using Windows 10, otherwise it doesn't find some Outlook profiles.
Another option is using a free Outlook (previously Hotmail) email account and saving your calendar there and adding the account to both devices.

If you want a true business grade solution to sync Outlook/iPhone calendars that just works without the need for any additional addons, I'd look at O365, specifically Exchange Online P1/P2 plans.
